I have been a long time follower of Jason Mraz, so I was pretty stoked to take photos for him. He is just a phenomenal singer, performer, and all around cool dude. He played a bunch of new stuff and also played a song he wrote that day about his mom. Haha.
The Long Beach Terrace Theatre was beautiful and the security was awesome which is pretty rare for a large venue. The concert was a benifit for the Life Rolls On campaign. It is a pretty awesome cause, so you should check it out here. I really enjoyed editing these photos and I think they came out pretty good.
Like always, you can view them at high res/buy prints over at my smugmug. I will be getting a few myself.
Enjoy.

I LOVE these pics they came out so crisp!!! and Im also a huge Jason Mraz fan:)
Hi,love the pictures! I wasn’t a huge fan of Jason to begin with, but the more I listen to his songs the more I like him
. (Favourite so far: Butterfly). And I have a feeling that his life performances are better than studio recordings, I saw a few videos on youtube – I like the fact he seems to change the song slightly every time he performs.
I’m just dabbling with photography when I have time (which is not very often) but it’s always a pleasure to see what other people do. Thanks.
Anyway – wonderful work. I’m glad you decided to follow me on Twitter, otherwise I would never have seen the pics
