Wow. I was just blown away by these cats. I randomly found Company of Thieves from one of my many iTunes digs and I honestly have not been able to stop listening to their stuff. Their intensity and fire on stage was like no other indie band that I have seen. They rocked the Knitting Factory and everyone knew it.
They are lead by the singer Genevieve Schatz, who is one of the best performers I’ve seen in a long time. As you can tell by the photos, she is just crazy on stage and awesome. Marc Walloch (Guitar) was just spot on and I was very impressed by his playing and tone that just fit the band perfectly.
The band was super tight and just made the whole room feel it. I loved it, everyone loved it, and I really can’t wait till they come back into town.
